Ethan brings nearly 20 years of experience working with clients from private universities, to Fortune 500 brands, to small production companies. In every situation, he applies positive vision, inspired by a zeal for forward-thinking design and execution. His strength lies in catalyzing effective processes, he thrives on strategic know-how. Ethan organized, managed, and led the internal/external working groups and subcommittees during the Bates redesign project in 2009 – 2012. Ethan was the Director of Creative Technology, Web & Multimedia at Bates during the Bates project. He has also worked with multiple higher-ed design/communications teams including those at Lyndon State, Colby, Bates, Bowdoin, and Syracuse University. Ethan studied at Lyndon State College for a BA in Communications Arts & Sciences (Graphic Design).
Chris has over 13 years of experience designing award-winning websites, print publications, and other digital marketing materials, primarily for higher education. Possessing a keen sense of the user experience, Chris combines art, illustration, design, and technology to create a uniquely-tailored, integrated, and successful design for each project. Chris worked closely with Ethan Wright-Magoon on the Bates College redesign project and also led the design and development of many other sections of Bates.edu. Chris also led the re-branding, design, and development of the Bates Athletics website, and guided the College through its successful transition to a more responsive and mobile-friendly user experience. Chris graduated with honors from Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY), with a BFA in Communication Design.
