Appreciate

We will get to know your entire community more deeply during energizing dialogs with its stakeholders, committees, students, faculty, and staff. To do this, we use a collaborative and highly participatory system called Appreciative Inquiry (AI). Developed by David Cooperrider at Case Western Reserve University in the mid-80s, AI is a powerfully effective way to enable organizations to learn about themselves in ways that result in transformative change. In other words, we focus on the generative approach of “what’s working right” to get to know an organization. It is a mutual learning process that stimulates the participants’ excitement and delight as we collectively surface stories of positive possibilities, values, shared experiences, and distinctive strengths of an organization’s ecosystem.

Appreciative Inquiry allows us to understand the life-giving forces of an organization.
